Cuisine & Wine Bistro will celebrate Bastille Day on Saturday, July 14, with complimentary French wine tastings at both of its locations in the East Valley.

Chef/owner Fabrice Buschtetz is a native of France, where the national holiday commemorates the storming of the Bastille in 1789, a turning point of the French Revolution.

Cuisine & Wine’s Chandler location features many classic French dishes on its everyday menu, such as escargot, frog legs, chicken cordon bleu, and chocolate souffle.

The Gilbert menu has a slightly more Americanized menu, but still offers several French dishes.

From 3-5 p.m. Saturday at the Gilbert location, the social group The French Connection will host activities for kids pertaining to French culture and music from French artist Helene Bianca.

At 6 p.m. Saturday in Gilbert, international guitar star Philippe Holmes will perform music ranging from classical to hip-hop

Also at 6 p.m., both locations will begin free tastings of French reds, whites, and rosés.

Reservations are strongly recommended. Call 480-497-1422 for Gilbert or 480-275-6700 for Chandler.
