Here’s what’s on the menu for this week’s ‘Taste of Romeo’s Euro Cafe’ dinner in Gilbert on July 19

Romeo’s Euro Cafe in Gilbert holds its weekly ‘‘Taste of Romeo’s’’ dinner, hosted by chef Romeo Taus and his wife, Janice, in a private dining room, at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, July 19.

The dinners typically feature five courses selected from the restaurant’s regular menu. This week’s selections:

  • Mini Mozzarella Salad: Roasted red peppers, peas, artichoke hearts, and fresh mozzarella cheese in a pesto-Dijon vinaigrette.
  • Chef Salad: Turkey, ham, Swiss and provolone cheese, crisp bacon, artichokes heart, and olives on salad greens. With feta dressing.
  • Milanesa: Lightly breaded pork cutlets with garlic-horseradish mashed potatoes, roasted pepper-garlic jardinière, and lemon wedges.
  • Tortellini Gianni: Italian sausage, cheese-filled tortellini, scallions, fresh garlic, mushrooms, and sun-dried tomatoes in marsala cream sauce.
  • Intoxicated Love: Cake with dark chocolate, Grand Marnier, milk chocolate, and Kahlua, white and milk chocolate layers kissed by Jack Daniels (pictured).

Cost is $30 per person plus tax and tip. Add five wine tastes for $10. RSVP: 480-962-4224.
