Thai Chili 2 Go, a fast-casual Thai concept that originated in Chandler in 2010, opens its sixth Valley location today on the southwest corner of Santan Village Parkway and Williams Field in Gilbert.

The new restaurant will be the first to have self-order kiosks and be takeout only.

“We’re always looking for ways to provide our customers with an excellent experience fast,’’ owner Akshat Sethi says. ‘‘We are excited to be on the forefront of bringing this technology to our stores, which ultimately benefits the customer by providing an even more efficient ordering process.”

The first 100 customers today will receive a free entrée; all other customers today will get free dumplings. The restaurant will offer a buy-one-entree-get-one-for-half-price special for the first month (through Aug. 17).

Thai 2 Go’s menu offers five traditional rice or noodle bowls, such as Pad Thai and Thai fried rice (all $9), and five types of curry (all $10). There also are signature sauce bowls like sweet and sour and spicy basil.

Besides Gilbert and Chandler, Thai Chili 2 Go has East Valley locations in Queen Creek and east Mesa.

Thai Chili 2 Go is open 11 a.m.-9 p.m. daily.
