Ginger Monkey Tavern is south Chandler has introduced a new heat-related special: Customers can get their first drink for just 10 cents when temperatures hit 110 degrees.
(Note: Chandler’s official temperature as I type this is 110. Hint, hint.)
What qualifies as a first drink? According to the restaurant and bar, it could be a domestic draft, a well drink or a non-alcoholic drink.
You also can order one of Ginger Monkey’s new signature cocktail, the Monkey Pop (normally $5 apiece), for $1.10 when temperatures hit 110.
Introduced last month, the Monkey Pop is made with peach schnapps, razz, vodka, Tortured Artist, cranberry juice, and Sprite, and served with a Popsicle.
