Gilbert-based Salad and Go opens its 13th location at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 24, on the southeast corner of Ellsworth and Rittenhouse, next to BMO Harris Bank, in Queen Creek.
Salad and Go, whose stand-alone buildings have a walk-up window and a drive-through but no inside dining area, offers a menu of 10 gourmet salads (also available as wraps), all for $5.74.
As with previous openings, the Queen Creek location will start by serving just lunch and dinner, then add the breakfast menu in a few weeks.
Currently, the new location is open 10:30 a.m.-9 p.m. daily. Once breakfast is added, it will open at 6:30 a.m. weekdays and 8 a.m. weekends.
Salad and Go, which launched in 2013, has two other locations scheduled to open in early 2019, one on the southeast corner of Gilbert and Queen Creek in south Chandler and the other Cave Creek and the 101 in north Phoenix.
