Angels Trumpet Ale House, the 6-year-old craft beer destination in downtown Phoenix, is expanding eastward. Over the weekend, it opened a second location in Arcadia.
Angles Trumpet Arcadia takes over the former Sears Auto Center at the south end of the sprawling Arcadia Crossing shopping center on the southeast corner of 44th Street and Thomas.
The 10,000-square-foot indoor/outdoor venue can accommodate 240 people. It offers an extensive beer list and the same food menu as the original.
Unlike the original, though, the new location has a craft cocktail lounge called Tall Glass with its own entrance.
Owners Mat and Sharry Englehorn also plan to open a nano-brewery on site.
