Izzy’s Bakery & Cafe, which formerly was located at the Chinese Cultural Center in east Phoenix, has moved to the northeast corner of Dobson and Main in west Mesa.
Besides Chinese buns and cakes, Izzy’s has small but expanding menus of both American and Chinese items for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Earlier this week, specials included beef noodle soup ($8.95), stir-fried beef with flat rice noodles ($8.95), Taiwanese-style chicken nuggets ($5.95), and minced pork with rice ($6.95).
Izzy’s also offers a full line of coffee drinks, fruit and milk teas, and smoothies.
Hours are 7 a.m.-11 p.m. daily.
