Seafood will be in the spotlight when The Perch in downtown Chandler holds its next beer dinner at 6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 24.
The menu:
- Jerked shrimp: Spicy shrimp and plantains with a tomato puree. Paired with Peach Sour (a kettle sour blonde ale).
- Diver scallops: Pan-seared scallops and risotto finished with a saffron-vanilla butter. Paired with Basics of Flight (a Belgian-style blonde).
- Citrus-encrusted halibut: Citrus-encrusted halibut with a jalapeno beer blanc and roasted root vegetables. Paired with Mild Mannered Fella (an English mild ale).
- Beer sorbet: Mixed berry beer sorbet with an almond tuile. Paired with Shake Your Tail Feather (a milkshake IPA).
