Mediterranean Paprikash and Andalusian Baked Eggplant (pictured) will be the featured entrees when Romeo’s Euro Cafe in Gilbert holds its weekly ‘‘Taste of Romeo’s’’ dinner, hosted by chef Romeo Taus and his wife, Janice, in a private dining room, at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 13.
The dinners feature five courses selected from the restaurant’s regular menu. This week’s selections:
- Peppers Spanaki: A sweet colored bell pepper halved then stuffed with mozzarella, spinach and brown rice, baked with tomato sauce.
- Corinthian Salad: Grilled chicken breast, mixed greens, hearts of palm, artichoke hearts, roasted red peppers, mushrooms, capers, feta cheese, Italian dressing.
- Mediterranean Paprikash: Ravioli with hearts of palm, scallions, mushrooms, cashew and red bell pepper in paprika cream sauce.
- Andalusian Baked Eggplant: Fennel sausage, roasted red peppers, pine nuts, spinach, red onions, and scallions baked over eggplant with feta cheese.
- Chocolate Cheesecake
