Romeo’s Euro Cafe in downtown Gilbert will host its monthly ‘‘3rd Tuesday’’dinner – featuring new food dishes paired with some servers’ favorite wines – at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18.
The three-course dinners feature three new dishes from chef Romeo Taus’ creative kitchen crew paired with three wines selected by the knowledgeable waitstaff:
- Tapas Trio (pictured): Blue cheese-stuffed green olives, marinara sauce, falafel fritter, salsa verde, radish sprouts, turkey sausage, and spicy black bean hummus. Paired with 2016 Imagery Chardonnay.
- A RibEye: Beef ribeye steak, cauliflower puree, blistered grape tomatoes, balsamic reduction, and chimichurri. Paired with 2014 Billhook Red Blend, Santa Barbara County.
- Chocolate Grand Finale: Paired with 2011 Altra Mountainside Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley.
