Word of Mouth Grill, a Tempe-based catering service since 2013, is opening an eponymous restaurant on the southwest corner of McClintock and Elliot in south Tempe.
The family-run business takes over a space formerly occupied by Rita’s Italian Ice (across the street from Flanny’s Bar & Grill).
Word of Mouth Grill will offer a menu of America barbecue and traditional Argentine cuisine.
It temporarily has suspended its catering operation during construction but will resume catering Oct. 1.
Look for the restaurant to open in November.
