Post image for Correction: Great Harvest Bread still open in south Tempe

Earlier today I wrote a post about the opening of Taqueria Louie in south Tempe, mentioning the Mexican restaurant took over a strip-mall space that formerly housed Great Harvest Bread.

Well, that came as a surprise to some readers – especially Great Harvest owners Ward and Leslie Walston, who just celebrated their business’s 10th anniversary this month.

In my haste, I mixed up Taqueria Louie’s location on the northwest corner of McClintock and Elliot (1730 E. Elliot Road #1) with Great Harvest’s location on the northwest corner of McClintock and Warner (1730 E. Warner Road #1).

The original post has been corrected, but anyone who’s already read it should rest assured Great Harvest is still going strong.
