Char’d Brisket Dogs + Burgers, a new fast-casual concept from the guys behind Ahipoki‘s fast-growing presence in Arizona, opens at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 27, near the ASU campus in Tempe.
It’s located next to Ahipoki on the northeast corner of Rural and Lemon.
Char’d serves hot dogs and burgers made with a proprietary blend of brisket and ground chuck. They are fresh (never frozen) and cooked to order.
Six specialty dogs include the El Chapo with bacon, onions, tomatoes, and jalapenos ($5.95); the Cali with avocado, tomatoes, and pseto aoili ($5.95), and the Southern Comfort with mac ’n’ cheese, bacon, and BBQ sauce ($6.95).
The three burgers are the standard Char’d Burger ($5.50), Bacon Burger ($6.75), and Mac ’n’ Cheese Burger ($6.50).
Sides include fries ($2.95), cheese fries ($3.95), and mac ’n’ cheese ($3.95).
No alcohol is served.
As an opening weekend special, Char’d will offer #2 off any order of $10 or more through Sunday, Sept. 30.
Char’d is open 11 a.m.-10 p.m. daily.
