Congrats to Venezia’s Pizzeria, which ranks No. 4 on Pizza Today magazine’s new Hot 100 Independent Pizzerias list.
The leading publication of the pizza industry annually ranks the largest independent operations in the U.S. based on sales.
Venezia’s, a family-owned New York-style pizzeria, opened in Tempe in 1998 and now has five locations in the Valley.
“It is exciting to make the Hot 100 list again because it reflects our commitment to providing excellent food and service to our customers and the hard work of our Venezia’s staff that make it happen every day,†says owner Domenick Montanile.
Venezia’s is one of only three Arizona-based pizzerias on the list. Spinelli’s Pizza in Tempe ranks 55th, and We Cook Pizza and Pasta at the Grand Canyon is 83rd.
