Union Grill & Tap in Gilbert updates menu with new dishes

Union Grill & Tap, the 6-month-old gastropub on the northwest corner of Higley and Baseline in Gilbert, has updated its menu with several new items:

  • Buffalo Chicken Wontons: Shredded chicken, Buffalo sauce, and cream cheese stuffed into crispy wonton wrappers and served with dragon sauce ($9.99)
  • Thai Chicken Skewers: Grilled chicken marinated in Thai peanut sauce, topped with sesame seeds and served with cucumber mint sauce and Thai peanut sauce ($9.99)
  • Romano Chips: House-fried potato chips tossed with Romano cheese and cracked black pepper and served with horseradish sauce ($7.99)
  • Chop House Salad: Grilled chicken, sliced almonds, avocados, mangos, parsnips, roasted sweet potatoes, and craisins tossed in white cherry vinaigrette ($12.99)
  • Spinach & Shrimp Salad: Grilled shrimp, spinach, bacon, tomatoes, red onions, blackberries, quinoa, and feta, tossed in bacon-honey-mustard dressing ($13.99)
  • Fried Chicken Cobb Salad (pictured): Romaine and iceberg lettuce, fried chicken, avocado, roasted corn, crumbled blue cheese, candied bacon, mushrooms, hard-boiled eggs, tomato, and peppercorn ranch dressing on side ($11.99)
  • Croque Madame: Parmesan seared sliced Southern white bread with ham, Swiss, and Dijon mustard covered with bechamel and a sunny-side-up egg ($11.99 with side)
  • Pastrami Reuben: Thinly sliced pastrami, 1000 Island dressing, sauerkraut, Swiss, local rye bread, and Dijon mustard on the side ($13.99 with side)
  • Ultimate Breakfast Burger: Charbroiled burger, chorizo country gravy, hash browns, American cheese, and over-easy egg on a croissant bun ($15.99 with side)
  • Beef Stroganoff: Seared steak, oyster and shiitake mushrooms, caramelized onions in parmesan cream sauce over linguini ($15.99 with side of parmesan bread)
  • Pork Tenderloin: Seasoned and seared with apple jus, served over parsnip puree with hominy succotash and blistered Brussels sprouts ($15.99)
  • Creme Brulee: Traditional vanilla bean creme brulee topped with seasonal fruit ($6.99)
  • Coconut Mint Brownie: Ghiradelli brownie with coconut and caramel, drizzled with mint ganache and served with scoop of Haagen-Dazs vanilla ice cream ($8.99)
