Thursday: ‘Taste of Romeo’s’ dinner at Romeo’s Euro Cafe in Gilbert

Risi Bisi con Milanesa and Goat Shrimp will be the featured entrees when Romeo’s Euro Cafe in Gilbert holds its weekly ‘‘Taste of Romeo’s’’ dinner, hosted by chef Romeo Taus and his wife, Janice, in a private dining room, at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8.

The dinners feature five courses selected from the restaurant’s regular menu. This week’s selections:

  • Vegeta Skins: Grilled hearts of palm, artichokes, onions, peppers, mushrooms, zucchini, Italian dressing, and provolone.
  • Spicy Pollo Kale Salad: Shredded kale, corn, grilled chicken, roasted red peppers, and cannellini beans.
  • Risi Bisi con Milanesa: Lightly breaded pan-fried pork cutlets, brown rice, black beans, peppadew peppers, hominy, onions, and peas cooked in chicken broth, parsley-cilantro salad, and lemon wedges.
  • Goat Shrimp: Bacon-wrapped jumbo shrimp with feta and sun-dried tomato stuffing. Served with sauteed vegetables.
  • Rhapsody in Blush: Raspberry liqueur-soaked sponge cake layered with mascarpone and white chocolate raspberry mousse.
