Yama Sushi House, a well-regarded Japanese restaurant that opened in central Phoenix in 2016, has launched a second location on the southwest corner of Alma School and Ray in Chandler.
Its menu offers 14 specialty sushi rolls and 25 ‘‘classic’’ rolls, along with sashimi and nigiri.
Other dishes include ramen, udon noodles, yakisoba (stir-fry noodles), gyudon (beef bowl), katsudon (panko-fried pork tenderloin), and grilled beef short ribs.
There also are bento boxes and poke bowls for lunch.
Hours are 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday, 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Friday-Saturday, and noon-9 p.m. Sunday.
