Closed: Hangar 9 Bar & Grille in Chandler

Hangar 9 Bar & Grille, a 3-year-old neighborhood eatery on the northwest corner of McQueen and Pecos in Chandler, has closed.

The bar and grill announced its impending closure a couple of weeks ago in a series of social media posts – since deleted – that blamed the landlord for kicking it out in favor of a ‘‘corporate’’ restaurant.

(That restaurant is rumored to be The Melting Pot, although that hasn’t been confirmed.)

Hangar 9 describes its closure as ‘‘temporary’’ as it looks for a new location.

One of the spaces it’s looking at is the former Buffalo Wild Wings on the southeast corner of McQueen and Elliot.
