Garlic Chicken Pesto and Pork AgroDolce will be the featured entrees when Romeo’s Euro Cafe in Gilbert holds its weekly ‘‘Taste of Romeo’s’’ dinner, hosted by chef Romeo Taus and his wife, Janice, in a private dining room, at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15.
The dinners feature five courses selected from the restaurant’s regular menu. This week’s selections:
- Portobellini: Grilled portobello mushroom with roasted peppers, basil pesto, garlic, and kasseri cheese.
- Balsamic Steak Salad: Grilled steak tossed in extra virgin olive oil, balsamic, vinegar with roasted red peppers, scallions, tomatoes, mushrooms, red cabbage, artichoke hearts, and sunflower seeds with romaine lettuce.
- Garlic Chicken Pesto: Chicken breast sauteÌed with roasted garlic, pine nuts in basil pesto cream.
- Pork AgroDolce: Blackened pork tenderloin, smashed crispy potatoes, green beans, grape tomatoes, roasted garlic, balsamic, and fig agrogolce.
- Fantasy Cake: Layers of cheesecake, chocolate mousse, and Devil’s Food cake finished with dark chocolate and ground pistachios.
