Jimmy & Joe’s Pizzeria, which operates two locations in the East Valley, expands into Phoenix today.
The family-run business opens its third location on the northeast corner of Bell Road and 45th Street in north Phoenix.
Owner Terry Black debuted Jimmy & Joe’s in Chandler in 2006. A Mesa location was added in 2011.
Black’s daughter, Amy, is his general manager.
Their signature menu item is the Serious Slice, a large slice cut from a 24-inch pie that comes with its own pizza cutter.
Besides New York-style pizzas with a choice of 30-plus toppings, the menu includes sandwiches, wings, and salads.
The pizzeria also is one of the few places in the Valley to get Eegee’s frozen drinks.
Jimmy & Joe’s is open 10:30 a.m.-9 p.m Sunday-Thursday and 10:30 a.m.-10 p.m. Friday-Saturday.
