BlackBerry Cafe to replace just-closed Biscuits Cafe in Chandler

By Jess Harter Wednesday, November 21, 2018

Two days ago, MXSW broke the news about the closing of Biscuits Cafe on the northwest corner of Dobson and Warner in Chandler.

Now we know what’s going to replace it: BlackBerry Cafe, another breakfast-and-lunch eatery, is taking over the space.

The owners are Reggie and Setkia Memishovski, who ran their our own restaurant in Chicago for 21 years.

‘‘When you dine BlackBerry Cafe, you will experience a relaxed, friendly environment offering amazing food that ensures the highest-quality product and welcoming service,’’ Setkia Memishovski says. ‘‘We try to source carefully, thoughtfully, and locally whenever possible.’’

She says the cafe will serve basic breakfast items – pancakes, skillets, omelets, etc. – plus a variety of sandwiches.

Her husband, who also is the chef, will make many items, from the soups to the potato pancakes, from scratch.

Look for BlackBerry Cafe to open in mid-December.
