Farmboy Market, Meats, Sandwiches in south Chandler has introduced several new menu items and a weekly food box featuring locally sourced ingredients.
The new menu items include:
- The Cuban Guajiro sandwich (pictured):Â House-brined and -smoked ham from Wilson Farms in Buckeye combined with pecan-smoked pulled pork marinated in chefDennis Bagnasco’s adobo sauce.
- The Benson Pulled Chicken sandwich: Pulled chicken from Top Know Farms in Benson and herbed chevre made of fresh basil, grown on premise at Farmboy, and a chevre-quark spread made with cheese from Crow’s Dairy in Buckeye.
Farmboy and Grace Farms, also in south Chandler, have hosted a series of pop-up farm-to-table dinners, and also are collaborating on The Green Box, a subscription-based weekly food box that blends a CSA with a prepared meal box.
Farmboy opened in May on the southwest corner of Alma School and Queen Creek.
