Now open: French restaurant Ella’s Cuisine in southwest Mesa

Ella’s Cuisine, a restaurant specializing in French cuisine, has opened on the southeast corner of Dobson and Guadalupe in southwest Mesa.

It takes over the building that was the longtime home of Pink Pepper Thai Cuisine.

The menu features classic French dishes such as salade niçoise, croque monsieur, ratatouille, chicken chasseur, and crêpes Suzette.

Lunch, served 11 a.m.-3 p.m., is somewhat streamlined with three soups ($6-$9), five salads ($7-$12), and six sandwiches ($9-$13).

Eleven dinner entrees ($12-$30) are available from 5-10 p.m.

Ella’s Cuisine is open 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
