Katsu, a Korean fusion restaurant, has opened next to Asiana Market on the northeast corner of Dobson and Southern in west Mesa.
Katsu is actually the Japanese term for cutlet, and Katsu offers both chicken ($10.99) and pork ($11.99) cutlets dressed with a choice of four sauces (pictured) as its signature dishes.
Other menu items include Korean tacos ($4.99-$5.99), Korean chicken wings (six for $7.99), omelet fried rice ($10.99-$11.99), kimchi ($10.99), and stir-fried rice cakes known as tapoki ($9.99-$11.99).
Katsu is open from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. daily.
