Barro’s Pizza to donate all proceeds Tuesday to St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance

Barro’s Pizza holds its seventh annual Doran Barro Holiday Hunger Fight on Tuesday, Dec. 4.

All 40 locations of the local chain will donate 100% of the entire day’s proceeds to St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance to battle hunger among Arizonans during the holidays.

The proceeds from one large pizza are enough to provide 70 meals. A dozen wings provides 42 meals.

To date, the campaign – which is named after the matriarch of the Barro family, Doran, who the family lost in 2016 – has raised a total of $950,000,  which has provided almost 7 million meals.
