Now open: Elbows Mac N Cheese in south Gilbert

Elbows Mac N Cheese, a California-based concept dedicated to two of America’s favorite comfort foods, has opened on the southeast corner of Gilbert Road and the Santan Freeway in south Gilbert.

The menu features 17 macaroni-and-cheese creations ($7.55-$13.95), such as:

• Pizza: With pepperoni or veggie and mozzarella;
• Jalapeño: With spicy jalapeño, sharp cheddar, and habañero jack;
• Lobster: With lobster, asparagus, asiago, and parmesan;
• Masala: With Indian spices, peppers, and onions;
• Cajun: With habañero jack, sharp cheddar, and andouille sausage.

It also offers 11 types of grilled cheese sandwiches ($6.50-$7.95).

Elbows is open 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Friday-Saturday.
