PDQ, a Florida-based fast-food chain specializing in chicken tenders and chicken nuggets, will open its first East Valley location on the southwest corner of Warner and Priest in south Tempe.
PDQ – which stands for ‘‘people dedicated to quality,’’ a slogan displayed on the restaurants’ walls – is behind (south of) Panera Bread.
It will be the chain’s second location in the Valley. It made its Arizona debut in Paradise Valley last year.
Besides tenders and nuggets with a choice of eight sauces, PDQ’s menu includes salads, sandwiches, sides, and milkshakes.
The opening date of the Tempe restaurant has not been announced.
