Now open: Knead A Bagel & Coffee in Chandler

By Jess Harter Wednesday, December 12, 2018

Knead A Bagel & Coffee, which describes itself as ‘‘a neighborhood bagel shop with neighborhood pricing,’’ has opened on the southwest corner of the 101 and Ray in Chandler.

It takes over the strip-mall space formerly occupied by America’s Taco Shop.

Knead a Bagel sells more than two dozen flavors of New York-style water bagels mixed, rolled, boiled, and baked in-house daily.

Most bagels are $1.35 apiece or $6.99 for a half-dozen. A few gourmet options are $1.85 and $9.50.

Fifteen flavors of cream cheese also are made in-house.

In addition to bagels, the menu offers breakfast sandwiches ($2.99-$8.79), baked goods ($1.99-$2.99), salads ($5.79-$6.79), wraps ($6.99-$7.89), and lunch sandwiches ($5.49-$7.49).

Knead A Bagel is open 6 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday-Friday and 7 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday-Sunday.
