Nicholas Campisano and Joshua James, co-owners of Clever Koi and Across the Pond, launch a new concept, Fellow Osteria, Friday in south Scottsdale.
The 140-seat, indoor-outdoor Italian restaurant is located at SkySong on the southeast corner of Scottsdale and McDowell (map).
In Italy, an osteria is an after-work hangout that typically serves a small menu of inexpensive wine and food.
Fellow Osteria’s menu, created in consultation with veteran Valley chef Claudio Urciuoli (Bianco’s, Taggia, Noca, Noble Eatery, and Pa’La), offers grab-and-go salads and sandwiches for lunch, as well as full-service dinner entrees and gourmet ice cream.
Fresh produce is harvested from an adjacent community garden.
Fellow Osteria is open 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 11 a.m.-11 p.m.
