Brooklyn V’s Pizza, a favorite destination of New York natives Valleywide, has the soft opening of its third East Valley location today next to the Harkins Chandler Crossroad theaters on the northwest corner of Gilbert and Germann.
It takes over the space formerly occupied by Eklectic Pie, which closed Nov. 1.
The menu will be the same as the other two locations, which means delicious New York-style thin-crust pizzas, oven-baked sandwiches, and Italian entrees.
Pizzas start at $14 for 14-inch and $16.50 for 18-inch. The signature specialty pie is the V’s Three Meat with sausage, pepperoni, and meatballs.
Nine kinds of stromboli range $10-$14.50. Calzones are $11 plus $1.50 per topping.
There are six sandwiches ($9.50-$10.50), 16 pasta dishes ($9.50-$18), and eight entrees ($12.50-$17.50).
Chef-owner Vito LoPiccolo – who operated Italian restaurants in Brooklyn, Queens, and Staten Island – opened the first Brooklyn V’s on the northeast corner of Lindsay and Warner in Gilbert in 2013.
In May 2017, LoPiccolo opened a second, larger location on the southeast corner of Rittenhouse and Ellsworth in Queen Creek.
Brooklyn V’s Chandler is open 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Friday-Saturday, and 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Sunday.
