Opening of The Sicilian Butcher in Chandler now scheduled for March

If you’ve been eagerly waiting for the opening of The Sicilian Butcher in Chandler, you’re going to have to wait a little longer.

The family-run Maggiore Group, which also operates Hash Kitchen, originally hoped to open The Sicilian Butcher this month on the southwest corner of the 101 and Frye next to the Chandler Fashion Center.

The Italian concept, which offers craft meatballs, house-made pastas, and charcuterie, now is scheduled to open in March.

Back in September, MXSW broke the news that the Chandler location would include a marketplace and a build-your-own cannoli bar.

Now the Maggiore Group has announced the original Sicilian Butcher in northeast Phoenix also will get a cannoli bar, which will be located next door and called The Sicilian Baker Cannoli Bar & Market, in January.

A third Sicilian Baker Cannoli Bar & Market is scheduled to open in the West Valley in 2019.
