With this month’s flurry of restaurant and brewery openings in the East Valley, I completely forget to write about the closing of Jimmy T’s Holy Crab in Chandler.
The seafood restaurant, which took over the former China King building on the northwest corner of Alma School and Ray, closed two weeks ago.
It was open for less than eight months – an especially short time considering Jimmy T’s construction took more than 18 months.
The concept was similar to popular local Cajun seafood chain Angry Crab Shack, but with more of a neighborhood sports bar vibe.
