Mingle+Graze, which describes itself as ‘‘a cheese bar and kitchen,’’ has opened in the former Wimpy’s Paradise space on San Marcos Place in downtown Chandler.
The small eatery is the brainchild of Mahfam Moeeni-Alarcon and her husband, Cristobal (pictured), who also own specialty food company Mahfam Artisanal Handcrafted Foods (MAHF).
MAHF specializes in nosh spreads with olives, cheeses, nuts, fruits, chocolates, and other small bites reflecting the owners’ Persian and Chilean roots.
Similarly, artisanal cheese and charcuterie boards are the main focus at Mingle+Graze, but the small menu also offers of sandwiches, soups, and other food items.
The restaurant has a BYOB license, so diners can bring in an unopened bottle of wine or beer.
To start, Mingle+Graze is open 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Wednesday and 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Thursday-Saturday. Closed Sunday.
