The Brass Tap in downtown Gilbert is the latest East Valley restaurant to announce discount deals for furloughed federal workers.
Those not receiving pay during the government shutdown will receive 50% off all handheld menu items before 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
Handheld items include burgers, tacos, flatbreads, wraps, pizzas, and sliders.
