Goody’s Cafe, an all-day diner serving American comfort foods and Mexican favorites, has opened on the northeast corner of Dobson and Baseline (map) in southwest Mesa.
The family-owned restaurant takes over the long-closed Coco’s Bakery & Restaurant.
Goody’s breakfast menu focuses on pancakes, waffles, French toast, and breakfast burritos, while lunch options include burgers, sandwiches, salads, and wraps.
A short list of dinner entrees, served after 4 p.m., includes ribeye steak, tilapia, fried chicken, fish and chips, and pork chops.
The Mexican section of the menu offers tacos, tortas, burros, and dinner plates. Chili verde is the house specialty.
Goody’s is open 5 a.m.-9 p.m. daily.
