Arizona Wilderness Brewing opens 2nd location in downtown Phoenix

By Jess Harter Monday, February 18, 2019

Arizona Wilderness Brewing, Gilbert’s first craft brewery that launched in 2013, opened its much-anticipated second location on the southeast corner of Second Street and Roosevelt in downtown Phoenix.

The new location is a counter-service restaurant featuring burgers and the brewery’s award-winning beers. It has a large, open-air patio, photographs of Arizona landscapes, and murals by local artists.

Arizona Wilderness will have a two-week soft opening with limited hours: 4 p.m.-midnight Monday-Thursday and 11 a.m.-2 a.m. Thursday-Sunday.

A grand opening is scheduled for March 1.

Arizona Wilderness becomes the third East Valley brewery to expand to Phoenix, following in the recent footsteps on Tempe’s Huss Brewing and Chandler’s SanTan Brewing.
