Perfect Pear Bistro to close Ahwatukee location, Tempe ones to remain open

Perfect Pear Bistro announced its original Ahwatukee location on the southwest corner of Desert Hill Parkway and Chandler Boulevard will close at the end of May.

In a Facebook post, Laura Hove, who opened Perfect Pear with her husband, Chris, in 2013, said their lease ended in January and they couldn’t reach an agreement on a new lease.

Perfect Pear still will have two locations:

• Northeast corner of Priest and Ray in south Tempe (opened in 2014)
• Southwest corner of Roosevelt and University in north Tempe (opened in 2016)

Perfect Pear’s lunch-and-dinner menu features salads, sandwiches (including five different types of grilled cheese), soups, tacos, pasta, and more.
