The Sicilian Baker debuts today in NE Phoenix, coming to Chandler in July

By Jess Harter Wednesday, March 20, 2019

The Sicilian Baker, an Italian bakery and build-your-own cannoli bar coming to Chandler this summer, makes its debut at 10 a.m. today in northeast Phoenix.

The bakery, which MXSW first reported last September, is the latest concept from Valley restaurateurs Joey and Cristina Maggiore (The Sicilian Butcher and Hash Kitchen).

It opens today next to The Sicilian Butcher on the northwest corner of Tatum and Greenway.

The cannoli bar offers four sizes of house-made cannoli shells that can be filled with a choice of 10 flavored creams. Prices range from $2-$12.

The bakery also sells sandwiches, pizzettes, pastries, and cookies. See the menu.

The second locations of The Sicilian Bakery and The Sicilian Butcher originally were scheduled to open on the southwest corner of the 101 and Frye, next to the Chandler Fashion Center, in December.

They later were postponed until March, and now are not expected to open until July.
