Arcadia ‘high-class dive bar’ High Dive closes after less than 8 months

High Dive, a well-regarded Arcadia bar and grill that opened on the southeast corner of Indian School and 42nd Place in late August, closed over the weekend.

The self-described ‘‘high-class dive bar’’ was a collaboration between Square One Concepts (best known for Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers) and Blue Print Hospitality Group (Nook Kitchen in downtown Phoenix).

There’s no mention of the closure on High Dive’s social media accounts.

A source at Square One called the closure ‘‘temporary,’’ without further explanation, but added it will be closed for several months.
