Now open: Voodoo Daddy’s Steam Kitchen in south Tempe

VooDoo Daddy’s Steam Kitchen, a New Orleans-inspired fast-casual restaurant, has opened on Elliot about a half-mile east of Priest (map) in south Tempe.

The menu offers a variety of Cajun, Creole, and Caribbean cuisine, including jambalaya ($9.50), red beans and rice ($8.50 with sausage), po’ boy sandwiches ($9-$10.50), and beignets (three for $5).

Beverage options include cane cola, sweet teas, ‘‘porch wines,’’ and craft beers.

VooDoo Daddy’s hours are listed as 11 a.m.-10 p.m. daily.
