Grubstak, a 2-year-old poutine-like concept in downtown Gilbert, has closed its doors.
A second location, which opened in south Chandler in November, remains open.
According to a notice on the door of the Gilbert location:
‘‘This location is currently closed as we explore our creative options to enhance this space. We apologize for any inconvenience.’’
The notice asks customers to visit the newer location on the southeast corner of Gilbert and Ocotillo. Outstanding gift cards will be honored at that location.
Grubstak’s signature menu items – known as Staks – feature a layer of waffle fries, roasted vegetables, quinoa, or chopped romaine topped with a variety of meats, veggies, and sauces.
