La Patrona Mexican Cantina has opened on the north side of Main Street, about halfway between Stapley and Gilbert, in Mesa.
It takes over the standalone building that formerly was Casa Ramos, which closed in April 2017 after 5-plus years.
La Patrona features salsa music on Thursday nights and mariachi music on Friday nights.
Hours are 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Tuesday-Wednesday, 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Thursday, 10 a.m.-midnight Friday, 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Saturday, and 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Sunday. Closed Monday.
