E.V.-based Someburros to open 1st Phoenix location this summer

By Jess Harter Tuesday, May 14, 2019

Someburros, the East Valley-based chain of fast-casual Mexican restaurants, will open its first Phoenix location on the northeast corner of Seventh Street and Camelback this summer.

“It’s been a dream of mine for some time to open a Someburros in my neighborhood,” says co-owner Amy Vasquez, whose parents and grandmother opened the first Someburros opened in Tempe in 1986.

The business, now run by Vasquez and her brother, Tim, has grown to nine locations, seven in the East Valley.

Fifteen different burritos are the highlights of the menu, which also offers tacos, tostadas, enchiladas, and tamales.

Beverage options include draft beer and frozen margaritas.
