Borderlands Brewing & Public House coming to north Phoenix

By Jess Harter Tuesday, May 21, 2019

Borderlands Brewing, an 8-year-old Tucson brewery best-known for its Noche Dolce vanilla porter and Citrana sour gose, is expanding into the Valley.

Borderlands Brewing & Public House will take over a former auto body shop on the southwest corner of Seventh Avenue and Deer Valley in far north Phoenix.

The owners of the Phoenix location are Marshall Norris, who’s brewed on and off with Borderlands, and Matt Wright. The pair have signed a licensing agreement with Borderlands.

The Phoenix location will carry all of Borderlands’ signature beers, which will continue to be brewed in Tucson, where Borderlands shares a production brewery with Sentinel Peak Brewing.

But Norris also will brew Phoenix-specific beers on a three-barrel system. Arizona guest beers, meads, and wines will be sold, too.

Borderlands Brewing & Public House is expected to open in June.
