Myke’s Pizza moves into new home inside Cider Corps in downtown Mesa

Myke’s Pizza, the popular ‘‘pop-up’’ pizza vendor who has set up at various downtown Mesa businesses on different days since 2016, now has a permanent home.

Over the weekend, the pizzamaker moved into recently expanded Cider Corps on the southeast corner of Robson and Main in downtown Mesa.

The cidery, which opened in 2017, expanded into a neighboring space earlier this year, giving it room for more fermenters and a bottling line.

The expansion also includes a permanent indoor space for Myke Olsen, who had been baking 12-inch pizzas one at a time in a small mobile oven. (Pictured: Potato and bacon pizza, $14.)

Olsen now has the capacity to bake five pizzas at a time. He and new partner Manoly Kladovasilakis eventually hope to offer side dishes and salads as well.

Myke’s Pizza is open 5-9 p.m. Wednesday-Friday and 4-9 p.m. Saturday. Cider Corps will continue to bring in food trucks on some other days.
