Agave del Scottsdale, a high-end, Mexican City-inspired restaurant, has opened on the southeast corner of Hayden Road and Via de Ventura in north Scottsdale.
It takes over the former Butters space in the Mercado del Lago plaza.
The lunch menu offers ceviches ($12-$16), tacos ($11-$14), enchiladas ($12-$14), and gourmet burritos ($12-$16). There also are steaks ($29-$42) and seafood ($25-$38) for dinner.
The cocktail menu includes tequila flights ($16-$19) and 10 different margaritas ($10-$13).
Hours are 11 a.m.-10 p.m. weekdays, 9 a.m.-10 p.m. Saturday, and 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Sunday.
