La Casa de Juana to open 3rd location in Ahwatukee by end of this year

La Casa de Juana, a family-owned Mexican restaurant that’s quietly expanding its footprint in the East Valley, will open its third location in Ahwatukee late this year.

The colorful sit-down restaurant debuted on the southeast corner of McClintock and Elliott in south Tempe in 2014.

In 2016, a second location with an expanded menu opened in the former Top Shelf space on Southern, just east of Dobson, in west Mesa.

Now, a third location is in the works in the Fry’s plaza on the southwest corner of 40th Street and Chandler Boulevard in Ahwatukee.

La Casa de Juana’s specialties include Chicken Mole ($12.95), Monster Burritos ($14.95), and build-your-own Fiesta Platters ($7.95-$11.95).

The menu also includes an extensive vegetarian section as well as some American dishes.
