Moku Hawaiian Grill, a family-owned restaurant offering Hawaiian-style plate lunches, has opened on the northeast corner of Ray and East Ranch Circle in Ahwatukee.
It takes over the former Papa Chevo’s Taco Shop, which closed in March, in the same complex with Jamba Juice and Papa John’s Pizza.
Moku’s menu features large portions of meats such as chicken katsu, kalua pork, pÅ«lehu steak, and poke (ahi tuna). Sides include macaroni salad, kimchee slaw, sweet corn, and garlic edamame.
Regular plates (two meats, rice, and two sides) start at $8.49, large plates (three meats, rice, and two sides) at $11.49, and bowls (two meats, no sides) at $7.49.
Hours are 10:30 a.m.-9:30 p.m. Monday-Saturday. Closed Sunday.
