Add another name to the list of restaurants coming to The Steelyard, a new commercial development on the southeast corner of Gilbert and Chandler Heights in south Chandler.
Last week, MXSW revealed Pita Jungle and High Tide Seafood were the first restaurants to commit to the 26,000-square-foot center, which will consist of three multi-tenant buildings.
Now, Jersey Mike’s Subs also is in. The New Jersey-based chain already operates nearly 50 restaurants in Arizona, including two in Chandler.
According to its developer, about 60% of The Steelyard’s space has been pre-leased, including a day spa, dentist’s office, and insurance office.
Construction on The Steelyard is scheduled to begin this fall with businesses starting to open next spring.
