Sweet Magnolia Smokehouse, a popular Gilbert-based food truck since 2014, opens a bricks-and-mortar location at 11 a.m. today on the southwest corner of 50th Street and Chandler Boulevard in Ahwatukee.
It takes over the space that formerly housed Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop.
Sweet Magnolia offers smoked brisket, pulled pork, beef and pork ribs, hot links, and chicken.
Sides include baked beans, coleslaw, mac ’n’ cheese, potato salad, sweet potatoes, summer and zucchini squash, and white rice.
During its soft opening, Sweet Magnolia will close at 6 p.m.
